Just cancelled our new Shaw internet service over poor wifi performance of their Bluecurve router and lack of customer support. The Wifi range of the Bluecurve router is poor on both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands, and side by side comparison with an existing 5+ year old Telus setup showed that Shaw's Bluecurve has at least 20% less range on any band. I find that the internet is constantly dropping. We've had the problem repeatedly over the years and they never really fix it, just tell us it could be someone's garage door opener nearby or a microwave oven. Not helpful. And quite expensive really considering the service. I am sure I can get unreliable internet for less
