Okay internet service and stability at a fair price. However I could not recommend this company to anyone who plans on ever moving or changing providers. Trying to accomplish this I have waited a sum total of at least 12h in the past month over the course of at least 15 calls to customer service. The service is intensely and consistently useless, making one mistake after the other. They have failed to end my service at planned dates then randomly disconnected me several days later leaving me with no internet. No amount of calling them can resolve the situation. I will gladly be changing provider.

When I change to another internet provider they caused trouble. The internet connection was 30 but when I test it I only had 25. I call them 6 days before the change with a clear date. They delay the disconnection so I end up not having internet for two day because they cut off internet at the last minute instead of doing it when I ask. They also keep trying to give you cheaper price only when you are willing to leave. I don’t recommend it, they lack ethics . It used to be good but for much cheaper you can get twice the speed and they cause trouble when you change internet provider.

One of these ISPs where new customers get much better pricing than long time ones. Plus they do not honor their commitments regarding extra consumption.

Been with them for longer than I can remember, probably more than 5 years. Always got a little more speed than what I pay.
Pay for for 5 Mbit, but download is 5.8 M bit. So this is excellent.
Internet always works. This is the second house where I used them. So Montreal always worked, and now Laval.
So super reliable, plus better speed than what you pay.
When you move they tell you the cost. Were nice when the credit card expired, send an email and continue the service to allow me time to make the change.
Very very recommended.

I subscribed to them had alot of issues after 1month I switched to videotron. Funny that they use videotron for the service but videotron had no issues and was cheaper too ...

Called a month prior moving out of my apartment, scheduled a date to stop service, get all my equipment back in person to their Longueil Store, 2 weeks after, got a new invoice for the upcoming month, contact their customer service, they told me to just ignore, then receive a new email stating to pay now or my account will be closed, called back and they told me again to ignore, then get a email stating I own them 2 month of services, call and send a ticket, on the phone they told me to ignore again and in the ticket they reply that I own nothing and it's just a matter that the system need time to update, 6 month later, got a call from a recovery agency stating I own them money, call eBox, now they told me I own money but my account was close and they got their equipement and I was in good standing,

They are trying to rip me off for service I never did received and was canceled and that equipement was already return even though I was told multiple time that I own them nothing.

Very back customer service trying to resolve, will fill a complain to protection du consomateur

No, I don't recommend this carrier and let me tell you why. So basically I live on a really old street that has existed for over a century, but for some bizarre reason it's not on Canada Posts autocomplete system so when I go to some websites that use that system when I try to type my address in it won't come up, I have contacted Canada Post about the issue.

Anywho I've been living at this same address for almost a decade now and have had a myriod of dsl or cable services, either from cogeco, start or teksavvy but I did have ebox for a few months with adsl about 5 years ago. So my address definitely MORE than qualifies for service. Anywho I hear that ebox is selling 1 gigabit service in cogeco areas and I am intrigued, I go to their website and long behold my address won't autopopulate in the system, figuring it's because they use canada posts bad autocomplete system for addresses. I type my moms address in which is only a few blocks away from mine and it shows she can get the gigabit service... (at this point I will mention I am a current cogeco customer with gigabit service and was just looking to switch to an alternative).

I call up ebox and they ask for my name and then my address.... she tries to punch in my address and it won't come up. I then have to go through the whole song and dance routine with her about how if they are using Canada posts system to autocomplete addresses it WILL NOT WORK. She tells ME 'the customer' to call Canada post myself and fix the issue with them. Reluctantly and annoyingly I call Canada post and they submit a ticket, and then 3 days later I get an email saying ticket complete but they literally did nothing, no issue fixed no nothing 'surprise surprise....'.

At this point I call ebox back and try to fully explain the situation with my address (not just my address in particular but the entire street). She asks for my address and then just echos what the previous rep said about my address not being in Canada Posts system and that I don't qualify for service because of it (ironic considering their foot print would be identical to cogeco, start, teksavvy etc). She said 'Their' technicians wouldn't be able to verify if I had service so they couldn't do it (as if they have any of 'their' own technicians...). I literally told her to go to cogeco.ca and search for availability at my address, which she does and then comes back to say that I do qualify for gigabit service with cogeco at my address, and I also persisted to tell her I have had cable service with start as well as teksavvy and I had adsl with ebox 5 years ago. She then googles my street address on google maps and finds it and the street view but all she does is echo that they can't sell me service because my address doesn't come up in Canada posts system. I ask if they have a way to overwrite it since they know I can get service at my address given what I'm telling them and that she just verified availability on cogeco's website. She just says the same thing that because the address doesn't come up in their system that she can't sell me service.

Oh, at this point I will mention she's not just saying they can't provide me with gigabit service, she's saying they can't provide ANY service whatsoever (not cable, not dsl.. NOTHING) even though all the other companies can.

I was super annoyed at this point mainly because she clearly didn't have access to any REAL ordering method and it's like she was just using their website to submit orders (seriously?? a rep using a customer website) since she couldn't do a manual qualification and order submission. She just kept echoing over and over again about Canada post not having my address in the system. WHAT INTERNET PROVIDER RELIES ON CANADA POST??!!?? CANADA POST HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME GETTING ANY UTILITIES! INCLUDING CABLE OR PHONE. Anywho, I try to give her some feedback that perhaps they need to fix their system and not rely on Canada post to find addresses and she tells me there is absolutely nothing wrong with THEIR system and it's all canada posts fault. I'm sorry lady, but if your system won't allow you to punch in an address manually and will only allow you to enter in an address with Canada posts autocomplete, IT'S EBOX'S LIMITED CAPABILITIES, bell.ca I have the same issue checking service availability as well but at least there I can hit 'can't find address? click here to enter it in manually' and it will work just fine upon manually entry. Serious ebox, take responsibility for your bad system that you have for your reps... they serious can't do a manual qualification and order? are they really just punching peoples info in on your junk website?

I can't tell you how their service is only how their customer service is. I tried to sign up for service (actually I called back twice). In my town, Canada Post has an issue where certain streets aren't listed on the system even though they have been here for over a century and my street is one of those streets. Anyway I try to type my address in and of course it won't auto populate when I try to check availability (no surprise I have this issue with bell too accept there you can manually type it in and it will show you what your eligible for) so I type in my moms address in the same town and it shows they have up to gigabit service, so I'm intrigued because I didn't realize I could get gigabit service from any company other then cogeco currently in this area. I call up ebox and say "hey, I'd like to subscribe to the gigabit service" they ask for my address and I give it to them and then they say they can't find my address on the system. I explain to them that Canada Post has an ongoing issue where this street won't autopopulate on the system but I should still qualify for service. They say if they can't find me via the Canada Post system that they can't qualify me and give me some BS reason about the technician not being able to qualify me for service which is a joke considering I currently have teksavvy cable and was with cogeco previously. She tells me to call Canada Post to rectify the situation and to call them back.

Anywho I call canada post and they see the issue and submit a ticket, the next day I get an email back saying the ticket was completed however I notice my address still does not come up when I try to type it in on the ebox website so I know exactly where this is going to. I call them back and tell them I've tried to submit a ticket and it said it was completed but I don't think they really fixed it, so she asks for my address and says it doesn't come up and I say yes I know... clearly.. I direct her to check my service availability on the cogeco website and she verifies that through cogeco I can get up to gigabit service at the address (cogeco isn't completely reliant on Canada post to look up addresses). Anyways after trying to ask her if she can manually bypass the system for addresses they know qualify she says they cannot and they need to look it up via Canada post and if the address doesn't come up it doesn't qualify for service. At this point I was becoming annoyed because I literally qualify for service from any other company that isn't realiant on Canada post such as cogeco, teksavvy, start, and bell. I tried to give her some feedback that Ebox needs to fix their system so they can manually submit orders without using Canada Post as some end all be all (considering she seen herself I can get service by checking the cogeco website) and she tried to deflect all blame and said it's not their system that's the problem it's Canada post. CLEARLY it is an EBOX issue as well if they are completely reliant on Canada Post to look up addresses in the system even if cogeco and teksavvy and bell qualify the address. FAIL EBOX.

Because of this experience, I will never go with them, even if they do fix their system. At this point it's literally as if the reps are using ebox.ca to submit orders rather then an internal system. FAIL EBOX FAIL

The price point for the different internet speeds are not competitive at all in the current age. I even contacted customer support about this and they did not offer me any other solution than a flat discount on the monthly fee, for only a certain amount of time after which the discount would not apply anymore. They don't really care about retaining their customers and it takes them almost a week to respond to emails.

I chose Ebox as ISP because it had good customer service ratings. Boy, was I wrong. Waited forever to get service installed only to be told after several weeks that they can’t get internet installed at my address. Chose a local provider afterwards and had internet within days. Spent hours on the phone with Ebox and now have to pay to ship the modem back, even though their incompetence forced me to switch. Do yourself a favor and avoid Ebox.

Sagemcom TV boxes are simply crappy and do not respond well to the remote control.
The staff of the sàc do not know the technicalities and do not stop repeating the disc of what they have been taught. Really disappointed

The price was good, but the modem and router rental fees were not clearly displayed. In addition, the speed quality is not suitable (facetime call or slow zoom in my apartment). The router is not very efficient at broadcasting the signal.

For internet, it's reliable but occasionally drops speed without notice.
For TV, there is system instability. Certainly, improvements need to be made.
