The Xiaomi 18 Fold introduces a new "mid-fold" form factor, sitting between large book-style foldables and compact flip phones. Folded, Xiaomi describes it as roughly the size of a passport and light enough for one-handed use. It pairs a 5.38-inch cover display with a 7.58-inch inner screen built for multitasking and media. Inside, the phone runs on Xiaomi's own Xring O3 chipset (3nm) and is confirmed to be the first foldable to use next-generation LPDDR6 memory. A newly designed "dragon bone" hinge aims for a slimmer folded profile. The rear camera system was developed with Leica and features a triple-lens setup. At the time of writing, the phone has only been officially unveiled ahead of its September 7, 2026 launch event in China, with full specifications, pricing and international availability still to be confirmed.
