Fido is the most EVIL and THEIVING phone company out there. When they set me up with my account, they sent me a phone that barely works. On top of that I specifically instructed them to setup automatic payments, which they did not. Then when my payments weren't being taken (for three months) they charged me an $80 late fee. Fido doesn't care about it's existing customer, I am with Fido for ~3 years, but when I called to upgrade my data plan from 2 GB to what they are offering to new customer , they simply refused it , and when I asked to leave the Fido as getting better deal with other provider they didn't care .

I've bought 2 phones from Fido, both faulty. First was an a53, then an S22. They took the first one back, second one they did nothing. I was out of town and missed the 30 day so called customer satisfaction by 5 days I believe. S22 is less than 5 months old, it'll be going in for the 3rd time for repairs. It always takes a very long time on each call to resolve, in my opinion, a simple problem that comes entirely from Fido. Each person I managed to talk to told me different things. The supervisors are equally incompetent and lying. There is even one who promised me that the error would be fixed and that he would call me back 48 hours later. Moved to a new provider. Still charged by Fido. Fido support sad, that it is my fault and my responsibility to cancel services. While moving to a new provider, I was told that account with Fido will be closed. The message on my phone asked me to type “yes” if I am canceling my Fido and porting my number to Rogers. Support instead of apologizing start teaching me in a rood provoking stile. Fido service hit the bottom of the sh..y service.

Since a few weeks I am no longer able to make or receive calls if I am in the house. When it works the cut line... IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a human at FIDO, only their robot!!! I had to pretend to be a new client to finally talk to someone. NO results, they don't know why. Terrible service, I change supplier....

Roaming options are nonexistent. Travelling to the US has only one option. Pay $12.00 per day or do without. This can make for a very expensive month. They should offer at least one longer term option. Very disappointing.
