FIDO STOLE MORE THAN $4000 FROM ME. July End 2022- I called Fido to sign up for an Apple 13 pro max. Over the phone, we had an agreed amount of $115 per month. Fido doesn't care about it's existing customer, I am with Fido for ~3 years, but when I called to upgrade my data plan from 2 GB to what they are offering to new customer , they simply refused it , and when I asked to leave the Fido as getting better deal with other provider they didn't care .

Fido is the most EVIL and THEIVING phone company out there. When they set me up with my account, they sent me a phone that barely works. On top of that I specifically instructed them to setup automatic payments, which they did not. Then when my payments weren't being taken (for three months) they charged me an $80 late fee. I've bought 2 phones from Fido, both faulty. First was an a53, then an S22. They took the first one back, second one they did nothing. I was out of town and missed the 30 day so called customer satisfaction by 5 days I believe. S22 is less than 5 months old, it'll be going in for the 3rd time for repairs. My sim card is deactivated without informing me. I used the sim card for 2 months and when I went to charge my balance they said it is deactivated. Nobody from the service customer answered my calls for 2 days. I had to buy another sim card from other provider.

I had clearly specified in writing to a customer service agent via their Fido 'chat', not to activate the new line with Fido because at the very end of the registration I learned that I would not have my eSim electronically (immediately) because it must be delivered by post a few days later. Been with Fido well over 20 years. Am now retired and don't need 50 GB Data for $50 per month anymore. New customers can get 20 GB plan for $34 per month. But I am not able to get this package. They are so scammy and low, if you log into phone plans on your computer, it will not show the 20GB plan because they are aware of your computer. If I look on my wife's computer, it shows all the plans. Sin More

I bought a 2GB data plan.
My phone number does not work and I can’t text anybody.
Every time I try to call somebody, I says “your service provider has not authorized you to call”
This has really inconvenienced me. What a horrible service. Only good thing about it is the cheap price. Please don’t buy.

We have been long-time loyal customers of Fido. Probably 6-8 years. We are paying $51 monthly (per line) for 4GB data. New customers can bring their own phone and get 20GB for $39 or 50 GB for $44. When you make a call (or online chat in this case) and speak to customer service ... it is troubling when the customer service agent disconnects the call when they don't hear what they want to hear.
